The Attribution Trap: Rethinking How We Measure Local Marketing Success
Local customer journeys rarely happen in a straight line, but marketing reports often make them look that way. This session will break down how local businesses can better understand what is actually driving awareness, trust, leads, store visits, and sales across both traditional and digital channels.
Our guest speakers:
Addy Combs – VP, Performance Digital
Addy Combs is the Vice President of Performance Digital, a division of Walnut Media. A graduate of the University of Nebraska at Omaha with a degree in Business Marketing, Addy grew up in the Omaha area and has been with Walnut Media for more than five years. During that time, she has proudly led the integration of digital solutions into Walnut Media and spearheaded the creation of Performance Digital. Today, she leads a team of ten digital marketing experts dedicated to helping local businesses thrive in an ever-changing digital landscape. Addy is passionate about educating others, empowering her team, and making an impact in her community by providing strategies and services that simplify and elevate digital marketing for businesses of all sizes.

Jackson Ebeling – Director of Business Development, Performance Digital
Jackson Ebeling is the Director of Business Development at Performance Digital, where he helps businesses connect growth goals to clear strategy, stronger execution, and measurable outcomes. His work connects the front end of marketing strategy from discovery, positioning, campaign planning, and sales alignment with the execution needed to drive real outcomes across paid media, SEO, websites, reporting, and digital advertising. Jackson also helps train and enable the Performance Digital team to bring that same business-first approach to client strategy at scale.
