100 Block Parties
The City of Council Bluffs partnered with Emspace on its city image campaign — Unleash CB. As a way to provide residents with more opportunities to connect with their neighbors, Emspace developed the 100 Block Parties initiative — challenging Council Bluffs residents to host 100 block parties in a year’s time. The City of Council Bluffs exceeded its objective with a grand total of 110 block parties, and more than 26,500 Council Bluffs residents participated over the 12-month span as hosts or guests — an estimated 500 attendees at the 100th Block Party alone.
